Description

Upgrade your cycling performance with the Velocity A-23 Velocity 700C A23 Silver 28 Rim – the ultimate choice for road, gravel, and cyclocross enthusiasts seeking durability, versatility, and innovative engineering. Crafted from high-quality materials and designed with advanced features, this tubeless-ready rim delivers exceptional handling and aerodynamic efficiency to enhance your ride.

Materials & Construction

Constructed with double-walled aluminum (Dbl Wall), the Velocity A23 Rim offers superior strength and rigidity while maintaining a lightweight profile. Its sleek silver finish not only adds a stylish touch but also provides corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance in diverse riding conditions.

Performance & Engineering

Designed for optimal aerodynamics, the A23 features a 23mm outer diameter (OD) width that balances rolling resistance and support, making it ideal for pairing with 23c tires to achieve a more aerodynamic footprint. The 19.5mm rim profile enhances stability and control during high-speed descents or technical gravel sections. With an ERD of 601mm and 28 drilled spoke holes, this rim facilitates precise wheel building and tensioning.

Components & Technology

This model is tubeless compatible, allowing for lower tire pressures and reduced risk of flats – a significant advantage for gravel, cyclocross, and road riders. The A23 supports a 622mm ISO size and features a valve hole diameter optimized for Presta valves (PV), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of tires and sealants. The rim’s wide internal diameter (18mm ID) supports larger tires for enhanced traction and comfort, making it perfect for demanding terrains.

Style & Use Case

Whether you’re racing on pavement, conquering gravel trails, or tackling cyclocross courses, the Velocity A23 Rim delivers exceptional versatility and style. Its sleek silver finish complements any bike setup, while its tubeless design offers the confidence to push limits and ride longer distances with fewer interruptions.

Innovative & Differentiating Features

The broader footprint of the A23 allows for a more aerodynamic and efficient tire/rim combination, reducing rolling resistance and improving speed. Its tubeless-ready engineering simplifies setup and maintenance, making it an indispensable component for serious cyclists seeking performance upgrades.
