Designed specifically for 20-inch bicycles, this high-performance rim combines innovative materials and engineering to elevate your cycling experience.

Materials & Construction

Made from high-quality, durable aluminum, the Box One FT rim features a low-profile, no-nonsense design that minimizes excess material, resulting in one of the lightest double-wall rims on the market. Its robust construction ensures strength and true alignment, even under demanding riding conditions. The rim includes single eyelets on both sides to reinforce spoke pull-through resistance, enabling higher spoke tension for enhanced wheel rigidity and longevity.

Performance & Engineering

Engineered for optimal performance, the 20-inch Box Focus FT rim offers excellent weight savings without compromising strength. Its 14mm profile depth and 18mm outer diameter width provide a balanced mix of aerodynamics and stability-ideal for mountain biking, BMX, or urban riding. The rim’s specific front and rear designs ensure compatibility with 28 drilled holes and a 451 ISO diameter, making it a perfect fit for tube-only setups with Schrader valves.

Components & Technology

Equipped with eyeletted drilled holes and double-wall construction, this rim delivers superior spoke hold and durability, resisting spoke pull-through even at high tensions. Its 438mm Effective Rim Diameter (ERD) is optimized for precise spoke length calculation, ensuring a true, reliable wheel build every time.

Style & Use Case

Finished in sleek black, the Box Focus FT rim provides a modern, understated look that complements any bike style-be it mountain, BMX, or urban commuter. Its lightweight design enhances acceleration, climbing ability, and maneuverability, making it an excellent choice for riders seeking quick, responsive handling on the trails, dirt tracks, or city streets.

Innovative Features & Differentiators

The focus rim’s minimalist yet strong profile, combined with advanced engineering features such as single eyelets and optimized dimensions, sets it apart from standard rims.
