Description

Upgrade your cycling experience with the Box Components Box One FT 20-inch Focus FT Red 36 rim – a lightweight, durable, and high-performance wheel designed for serious riders who demand excellence. Engineered with precision and crafted from premium materials, this rim delivers optimal strength and minimal weight, making it an ideal choice for competitive riding, commuting, or recreational cycling.

Materials & Construction

Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the Box One FT rim features a low-profile, no-nonsense design that reduces excess material, contributing to its lightweight profile. With a double-wall construction and single eyelets, these rims provide exceptional durability, impact resistance, and spoke tension stability. The eyelet design further prevents spoke pull-through, allowing for higher spoke tensions and enhanced wheel strength.

Performance & Engineering

Designed specifically for 20-inch Rims, the Focus FT rim offers a 28mm outer diameter with a 17.25mm profile and an internal width of 22mm, providing excellent support for various tire types. The rim’s precise engineering ensures true wheel alignment, optimal load distribution, and improved ride quality. The rim’s weight savings without sacrificing strength makes it a top choice for riders seeking agility and reliability.

Components & Technology

This rim features 36 drilled holes with an ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) of 394mm, suited for tube-only setups with Schrader valves. The addition of eyeletted holes enhances spoke retention and overall wheel integrity. Designed for front and rear wheel configurations, the Focus FT model accommodates versatile cycling applications, from mountain biking to urban commuting.

Style & Use Case

With its striking red finish, the Box One FT rim adds a bold aesthetic to any bike – perfect for riders who want a combination of style and performance. Its versatile 20-inch size makes it suitable for various bikes, including folding bikes, BMX, and commuter bicycles. Whether you’re tackling technical trails or navigating city streets, this rim delivers reliable performance and a sleek look.
